Khanna debut as a film artist with Indian comedy-drama film Teen Thay Bhai (2011). She also played the Preet’s role in Hindi thriller film Gurgaon (2017). She is also warked in Punjabi film industry with film Bhaji in Problem (2013).

Ragini is the winner of the Apsara Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2012. She is also won the BIG Television Awards (2011) for BIG Garma Garam Jodi, Indian Telly Awards (2010) for Best Actress in a Lead Role and Star Parivaar Awards (2012) for Favorite Patni.

Khanna was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India on December 9, 1987. She completed her higher education from Mumbai University. She is a daughter of father Praveen Khanna and mother Kamini Khanna. Ragini has a brother Amit Khanna. She belongs to Hindu descent. Ragini was in a relationship with Jeasal Arya.
