She completed her schooling from Studied at a girls school in Meerut. Chitrangada did higher education from Lady Irwin College, New Delhi. She was an affair with golfer Jyoti Randhawa. Singh was married to Jyoti Randhawa in 2001, and She divorced in 2014. She has son Zorawar Randhawa.
