Shweta Tiwari is an Indian actress television presenter and model. She is mainly worked in Indian television industry. She made a debut on television as a Prerna’s role with a cameo appearance in Indian thriller series Kaahin Kissii Roz (2001). Shweta started his career on the film industry with film Madhoshi (2004).

Tiwari was born in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India on October 4, 1980. She completed her schooling from St Isabel’s High School, Mazgaon, Mumbai and higher education from Burhanis College Mazegaon, Mumbai. Her qualifications are Bachelors in Commerce. She is one of the highest paid actresses in Indian television industry.

Shweta’s father is Ashok Kumar Tiwari and mother Nirmala Tiwari. She has a younger brother Vaibhav Tiwari. She was married to Raja Chaudhary in 1998 and divorced in 2007. In 2013, Shweta was married to Abhinav Kohli. She has a daughter Palak Tiwari and son Reyansh Kohli.

Career

Tiwari also participated as a contestant in television show Bigg Boss – Season 4 (2010-11), and she is the winner of the Bigg Boss Season 4. She is very popular as a Host in Rangoli (2012-15) on DD National channel. She also played the Queen Surmaya’s role in popular television show Naagin (2007).
