Jhangiani was born in Sindhi family at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India on August 18, 1980. His father is Gobind Jhangiani and his mother Menka Jhangiani, and she has a sister Deepa Jhangiani. Preeti completed her schooling from G.D. Somani Memorial School, Mumbai, and St. Joseph’s Convent, Mumbai, and higher education from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She was married to model Parvin Dabas in March 2008, and she has two sons Jaiveer Dabas and Dev Dabas.
